“Hi. I am thirteen and I’m not sure if I’m at a healthy weight. I’m 5’4″ and weigh 130. I eat pretty normally but am definitely heavier than my sister, and most of my friends, even though we eat a lot of the same things. My mom tells me I need to go on a diet, but the last time I did that I felt cranky and irritable, and I think I actually gained more weight once it was over, because I was sick of starving myself. I don’t want to gain more weight than I am right now, but don’t want to be obsessed with it either. Is it possible to still be healthy even though I’m not exactly thin?”
