“I am working hard to overcome my binges. Since sweets are what I used to binge on the most, now that I’m trying to be healthier, I find I am terrified to eat anything with sugar. I’ve been trying to cut it out of my diet, but this is hard to do – it seems that everything from ketchup to bread has a sugar of some kind in it. Are there some kinds of sugar that are better than others for me to eat? Or am I just going to have to cut it out from now on? I’m tired of being so obsessive about food – what can I do to get over the hump?”
