“I have struggled with being at least 100 lbs. overweight for more than fifteen years. In the past, I’ve lost weight with each diet (even though I eventually gained it back). But lately, even when I’m really good I can’t seem to lose more than 18 lbs. before I feel “stuck” at a number that just doesn’t seem to change. Do I just need to wait it out, or could it be that my body is holding on to a higher weight now since I’ve been carrying it for so long?”
