I have surfed your site looking for a sample diet plan, but cannot seem to find one. Do you have a suggested weekly meal plan? I would love to see it. – Jana
Dear Jana,
We do not offer a weekly meal program one on our site. This is because we believe in a non-diet approach, for a number of reasons; it is the healthiest physically, emotionally and spiritually. I can’t address your question much further without details about your situation and motivation. If you have struggled with disordered eating, then an individualized meal plan designed by a registered dietitian may be what you need to move towards recovery. If you are trying to lose weight in order to be healthier, a meal plan might feel too much like a diet (95% of which fail in the long run). You might be interested in the book Thin Within by the Halliday’s, which promotes more intuitive eating and deals with both the emotional and spiritual components of eating (although I don’t like the title–God did not design us all to be thin).
I invite you to peruse the articles in the “Eat Well, Live Well” section of this site. If you are still seeking more structure, I recommend that you seek individualized counseling from a registered dietitian. See “Finding a Nutritionist.”
