Where the Money Goes
Our operation at Fb is similar to that of a church - it can sometimes be hard to attach a price tag to the value of what we are able to give those who benefit from our services. But there are many we've served who would say what we offer is priceless, as their lives (and maybe even yours) have been changed by our website, books, curriculums and groups. You can hear some of their stories in the "Real People, Real Perspectives" section of the site.
As we look toward the future, we have identified some key priorities to enable growth and sustainability. One of those priorities is to increase the number of people on staff, to allow Constance to lead the organization in the most efficient manner possible.
Our basic administration costs are currently covered by sponsorships. All additional funds received will go toward making it possible for us to hire a part time assistant to offload many of the administrative responsibilities currently being handled by Constance. Additional staff, including a volunteer coordinator, part time marketing rep, and program manager will be hired as funds permit.
From time to time there are also specific projects we need funding for. For example, right now we are trying to raise money to buy a color printer. You can actually pledge to that specific project right now either here on the Donate page or at our Facebook Cause page.
